Bill Gross says Chinese stocks are the next big short

Janus’ Bill Gross said last month that Bund shorts were ‘the short of a lifetime’. He qualified it by saying the time to make the trade was when the ECB stopped buying (which isn’t scheduled until Sept 2016) but that hasn’t stopped him from taking victory laps.

He did so again today, saying on the Bund short “It’s happening”. Up next, he said it’s China’s Shenzen Index, “just not yet”.
